Support for research - ECON JM BEST PAPER AWARD

Welcome to UniCredit & Universities!

November 15, 2016 – It's now closed the call for the 3rd Economics Job Market Best Paper Award. The competition is aiming at PhD candidates/graduates from the 17 European countries of the UniCredit perimeter.

Prizes will be awarded to 2 outstanding JM papers on topics related to general economic subjects. The 2 best papers will receive € 2,000 gross each.
 

The winners will have the opportunity to present their paper at the Spanish Economic Association Job Market, to be held in Bilbao on 15 -17 December 2016. In case they accept to attend the meeting, their travel costs will be reimbursed by the Foundation.
 

The two winning papers are:

- Gergely Gánics with the paper "Optimal density forecast combinations"

- Jan Nimczik with the paper "Job Mobility Networks and Endogenous Labor Markets"
