Welcome to UniCredit & Universities!

UniCredit & Universities’ activities can be broadly classified within two major categories, support for studies and support for research. In addition, the Foundation funds other initiatives in co-operation with the main European Universities.

Since 2009, UniCredit & Universities has been cooperating with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Trieste, co-funding two three-year degree programmes taught entirely in English - “The Economics and Management of Innovation” and “The Economics of Financial and Insurance Markets” – open to students of any nationality. The contest UNIEAST Research Grant closed in May 2011. The competition was launched in co-operation with the University of Turin in Italy and was targeted at post-doc researchers in Economics, Law and asocial science from Poland, Russia and Turkey to spend a six-month research period at University of Turin. The winners (Ekaterina Afanasyeva, Natalia Ferodova e Meltem Gürünlü) will be awarded a grant of €11.500 and will start their research period from September 2011.

The contest for 4 LUISS School of Government scholarships is also now closed. The competition was launched by the LUISS University thanks to the financial support of UniCredit & Universities to support the attendance of a LUISS School of Government scholarships Master's Programme in International Public Affairs. The winners (Soos Gabor, Svitlana Galko, Oksana Kohut, Dmytro Volodin), coming from the Ukraine and Hungary will start the Master programme next October.
