Initiatives in Support of Research

Welcome to UniCredit & Universities!

Every year, UniCredit & Universities Foundation promotes several initiatives in support of research, through contests for fellowship, research grants and best paper awards aimed to post-doc researchers in the fields of economics, banking and finance.

Now open the calls for:

- 2 Best Paper Award - The Social Dimension of Organizations - to award the best two papers submitted for a workshop in Budapest on the same topic (€ 5.000 gross) - Deadline 1 March '12

- 2 UniCredit Best Paper Award 3^ ed. - to award the best two papers submitted by UniCredit employees (€ 5.000 gross) - Deadline 15 March '12

- 2 UWIN Best Paper Award 2^ ed. - to award the best two papers on Gender Economics (€ 5.000 gross) - Deadline 30 April '12

Now closed the competitions for:

- 1 Foscolo Europe Fellowship 3^ edition - for researchers who completed a PhD in economics or finance outside Europe, are still teaching or researching abroad and intend to return to Europe to continue their research (€ 60.000 gross per year for two years, renwable for a further two).

- 5 Post-Doc Research Grant 2^ edition - to award the best five research projects in economics or finance submitted by young European post-doc researchers (€ 10.000 gross per year for two years).

Open Fellowships

3rd Edition - UniCredit Best Paper Award

Start: 2011-09-23 - Deadline: 2012-03-15 UniCredit & Universities Foundation launches the 3rd edition of the UniCredit Best Paper Award open to all UniCredit employees, from every country where the Group is present. The competition will award €5000 (gross of taxes) to each of the two outstanding scientific papers in the fields of economics, finance, law, politics and social science, whose content must be of relevance to the Group.

Best Paper Award - Best Paper Award- The Social Dimension of Organizations

UniCredit & Universities Foundation is launching the Best Paper Award - The Social Dimension of Organizations to reward the 2 best papers selected from among those presented during the 2012 Workshop on the same topic, to be held on April 27-28 2012 at the Central European University in Budapest.

2nd Edition - Best PhD Thesis Award

Start: 2012-01-30 - Deadline: 2012-04-30 UniCredit & Universities Foundation is launching the second Best Thesis Award competition to reward six outstanding doctoral dissertations in Economics or Finance. The competition is aimed at all young PhD graduates from all countries belonging to the geographical scope of UniCredit Group.
